We officially wrapped up 2019 at our State of the Chamber Luncheon. It was a wonderful, festive event filled with warm fellowship and an inspirational speech from successful business owner, Tom Black.  We were able to highlight 2019 achievements, communicate 2020 strategic initiatives and recognize some outstanding members for their service to our organization and the community.

In 2019 the Spring Hill Chamber hosted 33 ribbon cuttings/ground breakings, added 99 new members, for a total of 382 members, and retained 88% of our membership. We added a new Committee on Political Affairs which hosted 3 events aimed at boosting citizen engagement, fueling advocacy efforts and opening communication between our members and elected officials. We partnered with neighboring chambers and organizations to deliver a variety of new events as well, all targeted at meeting the needs of our members. Our Annual events, Experience Spring Hill and the Mayor’s Ball, both increased in attendance which provided greater exposure for our members and the mission of our Chamber. None of this could have been accomplished without amazing leadership from our staff members, Board of Directors and volunteer Ambassadors who all gave countless hours towards helping our members build relationships and grow their business. As we move into 2020 we hope you take the advice of our speaker, Tom Black, and focus on the following principles:

Happiness is a way of traveling

Persistence is omnipotent

Think big

Embrace change

No excuses

Make it a successful year!
