Spring Hill Chamber- 6 attributes

Every organization has a mission, a vision statement and a core purpose. Communicating them and living them daily are critical for the organization’s success. Just like the businesses we serve, the Spring Hill Chamber strives to positively impact our business culture to create a better Spring Hill.  Our 6 main attributes, represented by our 6-sided logo, support this mission.

Professional

Kind

Relationship-Focused

Networking Minded

Supportive

Growing and Developing

These attributes make sense for a Chamber of Commerce to embody but I believe the way in which we exemplify them is what sets us apart. From our leadership, staff, volunteers to our newest member, we are dedicated to genuinely ‘being’ these attributes in our encounters with one another and our community.  We are not perfect, but we are committed to working towards perfection.

Carol Risby, a new resident of Spring Hill and new member of our Chamber, provides a perfect summary of the Chamber carrying out these attributes and what makes our Chamber so unique:

“My husband Sam and I attended the January Chamber “Kick Off” luncheon, previous to our committing to moving to Spring Hill. We were not citizens of Spring Hill, we simply wanted to check out and observe the community as a whole before making that big decision to uproot our entire lives and move to Tennessee. Sam initiated contact with Ashley to inquire about attendance. Ashley was so kind and welcoming, we knew we were off to a great start. We arrived for the luncheon and were greeted warmly by other Chamber members. We sat at a table and low and behold, Laura Dahl from Music City Experts, LLC sat on the other side of Sam. We hit it off and she would eventually be the reason why I chose to join the Music City Experts team. We listened to the presentation given by the Mayor regarding the future of Spring Hill and were equally impressed. When the presentation was over, Sam and I turned to each other and literally said, “That does it, we’re moving”! The rest is history. Three months later we loaded the moving truck and arrived at our new home here in Spring Hill. We are loving it here and have no regrets. The Chamber of Commerce played a huge part in our relocation to Spring Hill. Keep up the outstanding work you are doing for the community!”

Carol’s experience motivates us to continue to provide an environment in which everyone feels welcome and a part of something that truly exemplifies our 6 attributes.  If these attributes resonate with you and you have interest in joining our mission I would love the opportunity to talk to you about the benefits of being a part of the Spring Hill Chamber.

I want to thank everyone involved in providing Carol, and many like her, with such a positive experience: Our Board of Directors, our Ambassadors, our members, our City, and of course, our staff.  All of these people are amazing and have been a valuable resource to me since the beginning of my journey with the Chamber. Our community really is a special place and I’m thankful for the opportunity to serve Spring Hill in my role at the Chamber.
