The Shop, Eat and Play theme was well represented once again to provide something for everyone that attended.
We saw great attendance at the first ever kick-off Mixer Friday night, sponsored by Walker Chevrolet. Our vendors were able to get a full sneak peak of the venue and network with one another before the next day’s full activities. It was a great night to take it all in and vote for the Best Booth winner.
Main Street did not disappoint with sponsor Breezy Power Wash taking home the coveted Best Booth Award. Main Street offered a lot of variety just like our own Highway 31. Attendees could break some boards, grab a sample of cotton candy, get a temporary tattoo or buy a new silicone ring!
The Food Garden, sponsored by The Reserve at Spring Hill, was once again a big hit with attendees. With a variety of food available from our local Chamber restaurants, there definitely was something for everyone! Donuts, ribs, gyros, tacos, pizza, chicken, marshmallows, and ice cream….Oh My!
Our newest addition, the Career Fair, sponsored by Williamson Medical Center was also well attended. There were well over 350 jobs available across a full spectrum of industries and opportunities. Job candidates were able to meet one-on-one with potential employers and learn more about the job climate in our area. We were excited to create this opportunity for our many members that are being challenged by a historically low unemployment rate.
The Kids Zone, sponsored by TriStar Spring Hill ER, was redesigned this year to allow everyone to freely come in and enjoy the many carnival themed activities provided by our kid-friendly businesses. We saw countless smiling faces from all ages as they made their way playing soccer, learning karate, getting their faces painted and picking up unique balloon animals.
Our Silver Sponsors, Maury Regional Health, First Farmers Bank and Spring Hill Eyecare welcomed guests into the Main Gym with their friendly faces and interactive booths. Our 80 vendors in this area definitely brought their A-game with their over the top booth designs. We heard so many comments from attendees about how grateful they were to be introduced to so many wonderful businesses…all under one roof!
Thank you to everyone that participated and attended this wonderful event. So many of you came that we had to open up overflow parking for the first time in the event’s history! And, with more vendors came more goodies! We saw so many of you leaving with bags full of swag. Some of you were even lucky enough to leave with goldfish from our friends at Need a Break in the Kids Zone. Special thanks to Holes to Go and Nashville Selfies for adding more elements of Play into our event.
We look forward to hosting this event every year so that we can witness the new relationships being made in our community. Everyone wins when you support local business so please continue to use our online business directory, www.experiencespringhill.com, when you are in need of a local service provider, before you head out to eat, when you are searching for the perfect outfit or gift and everything in between. Our members appreciate the opportunity to serve you!
