Election Day is April 11th! Do you know the 9 candidates running for the 4 Aldermen seats? Do you know their values, goals and vision for the city? The Chamber is hosting two events that will allow you to meet the candidates and become a more educated voter.
Our Candidate Forum will serve as our monthly luncheon presentation on February 28th from 11:15am-1:00pm at the UAW Hall. This event will have a heavy focus on the election’s impact on our local economy. All candidates will be in attendance and answering business related questions in a panel format. This is a great opportunity for our members to learn how the candidates (1) envision the future of Spring Hill (2) plan to represent the business community’s interests and (3) prioritize our city’s needs. You can view each candidate’s biography by visiting our Facebook page @springhillchamberTN. We encourage everyone to leave questions for the candidates on our Facebook posts. As always, guests are welcome at our events. Please register at www.business.springhillchamber.com/events. We are looking forward to the candidate’s sharing more about their individual platforms with our membership.
Our Meet the Candidates public event, in partnership with The Advertiser News, will be held March 14th from 6-8pm at the UAW Hall. This event will focus on the election’s general impact on our city. Our candidates will be available to meet with residents before and after a panel Q&A session. We encourage all Spring Hill voters to attend this event for the opportunity to meet the candidates and to learn more about their strategy for meeting the expectations of the residents. Please visit www.business.springhillchamber.com/events and our Facebook page, @springhillchamberTN, for additional event and RSVP information. We hope to see you and your family, friends, and neighbors at this informative community event.
Our Committee on Political Affairs is working diligently to execute both of these events as opportunities for our members and the community to become more engaged in the city in which they work, live and play. We are encouraged by the willingness of our candidates to participate in these two events that will allow us to carry out our core purpose- to serve our local business community by helping our members thrive while being a connector and trusted resource to the Spring Hill community. We hope to see you there!
